Dr. McFaddin grew up in central Florida. He attended the University of Florida for his undergraduate training. He received his Medical Doctor degree from the University of South Florida. His surgical training was in the United States Army, where he earned the rank of Major. Dr. McFaddin earned a Masters Degree in Business Administration in 2004. He has been in practice in Ocala since 1988. He is board certified by the American Board of Surgery.
Dr. McFaddin has served twice as Chief of Surgery, as well as President of the Medical Staff, at Munroe Regional Medical Center. He was elected, and served, as President of the Marion County Medical Society in 2009. Over the years, he has also chaired and served on numerous committees at Munroe Regional. He currently chairs the Board of Directors of The Surgery Center of Ocala
Dr. McFaddin is active in his church, having recently completed a term on the Vestry. He leads a Small Group and teaches Wednesday night classes. He also serves as a Sub-Deacon and reader.
Dr. McFaddin is married, has two children, and three grandchildren.
